Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Pre Contracts Planner to join our Estimating team in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, the role involves close collaboration with Estimators, Bid Managers, and site teams to produce comprehensive tender schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project software.
This position supports the Pre Contracts team with multiple intricate and technically demanding tenders related to roads, bridges, water, rail, and tunnelling projects. Responsibilities include schedule creation, cost and resource allocation, as well as the identification and analysis of risks to ensure the tenders are robust. Your contributions will play an essential part in securing new contracts.
Situated in our Regents Park office, you will also engage with the broader Abergeldie bidding team to drive project success.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Proven background as a Pre Contracts Planner within complex civil infrastructure projects encompassing roads, bridges, water treatment, or rail sectors.
- Advanced skills using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for scheduling.
- Extensive experience in Statement of Risk Assessment (SRA) development.
- Strong stakeholder engagement abilities to align schedules and outputs across teams.
- Preferably, prior experience in engineering or site-based project delivery.
- Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and proactive work ethic.
