Role Overview
We are seeking a fully qualified Practice Accountant based in Cork who desires career progression along with a healthy work-life balance. Candidates considering pursuing the ACCA Practicing Certificate will receive full support. This role offers the chance to manage your own client portfolio while delivering a variety of accounting, tax, and advisory services.

Located in Carrigaline close to outdoor and coastal recreational areas, this position is ideal for those with Irish practice experience, comfortable handling core compliance work, adept in client communication, and eager to expand expertise and advance rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Prepare and submit income tax, corporation tax, and VAT filings
- Oversee a client portfolio and serve as their primary liaison
- Address client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Produce management accounts and aid clients in financial reporting
- Supervise bookkeeping and payroll services
- Manage Revenue registrations and related correspondence
- Support company secretarial tasks including annual returns and RBO filings
- Participate in enhancing internal workflows and processes
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar)
- At least two years’ experience in an Irish accountancy practice
- Comprehensive knowledge of VAT, payroll, bookkeeping, and tax compliance
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in client interactions
- Keen attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership over tasks
