About the Role

As a Power Platform Techno-Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive Microsoft Power Platform solutions by merging functional knowledge with practical technical implementation. You'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate requirements into efficient, scalable solutions and participate in various configuration, customization, and integration efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fit-gap analyses and convert business needs into functional and technical system designs.
- Define business processes, data models, and solution architectures adhering to platform best practices.
- Create user stories, design documentation, and manage delivery backlogs.
- Assist in functional testing phases including build, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Configure and customize solutions using Dataverse, model-driven and canvas apps.
- Design and implement automated workflows through Power Automate.
- Develop and extend functionality using plugins, custom APIs, JavaScript, and Azure services as necessary.
- Support environment configuration, solution deployment, and release management tasks.
- Enhance and configure external portals leveraging Power Pages, focusing on user experience, accessibility, and usability standards.
- Design and implement integrations via APIs, connectors, and middleware platforms.
- Assist with data migration, transformation, and validation activities, ensuring robust data modeling, security roles, and governance within Dataverse.
- Engage in client workshops, technical discussions, and solution reviews.
- Collaborate with architects to maintain alignment with solution architecture and integration patterns.
- Provide ongoing support throughout delivery and hyper-care phases.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and governance.
- Support testing, defect resolution, and optimize system performance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience designing and delivering business applications on Microsoft Power Platform.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes, preferably within grants, funding, or public sector domains.
- Expertise with Dataverse including data modeling, security, and governance.
- Experience with model-driven and canvas app development.
- Proficiency in Power Automate flows, connectors, integrations, Power Pages, and basic Power BI reporting.
- Technical skills in .NET/C# plugin development, JavaScript, and Power Platform extensibility.
- Experience with REST APIs, Azure integration services, and middleware solutions.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, application lifecycle management (ALM), and DevOps methodologies.
- Additional advantageous experience includes ERP system integrations (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics FO), Azure integration components (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus), consulting, and large-scale delivery environments.
- Ability to work effectively across both functional and technical domains simultaneously.
