Job Overview
This role involves the comprehensive design, development, and management of business solutions utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform technologies. Key areas include Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric. The role also focuses on leveraging AI capabilities through Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure OpenAI to craft intelligent automation, conversational AI agents, and AI-enhanced business applications that enhance operational workflows and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and sustain applications leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI platforms.
- Construct and refine cloud and desktop workflows with Power Automate.
- Develop Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps aligned with business needs.
- Design and implement Power BI datasets, dashboards, semantic models, DAX expressions, and Power Query (M) scripting.
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric components including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, and OneLake for data operations.
- Build AI-centric solutions using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure OpenAI services.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with third-party systems through connectors, REST APIs, custom connectors, and Azure service integrations.
- Adopt ALM methodologies, implement DevOps processes, enforce governance, manage security roles, and apply Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
- Identify, resolve, monitor, and optimize Power Platform implementations.
- Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Provide mentorship, conduct code reviews, and offer guidance to junior developers.
- Compile technical documentation and facilitate user training to bolster solution adoption.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in developing and deploying Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- Proficient hands-on expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience creating AI-powered applications using Copilot Studio and related Microsoft AI technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its integration with Power BI.
- Experience in ALM practices, managing DevOps pipelines, governance frameworks, security roles, and DLP compliance.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 is advantageous.
- Certifications like PL-200, PL-400, PL-600, DP-600, or AI/Copilot related certifications are preferred.
