About the Project

This role is part of a significant infrastructure initiative for a mixed-use development in Riyadh, designed to be a globally recognized landmark with a unique vision. The development will serve as a self-sufficient community offering several key iconic features. KBR is engaged to deliver PMO services, providing enterprise-wide governance, assurance, integration, and performance oversight across all related projects and programs.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager Information Management / PMO Digital Lead, the Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and supporting business intelligence tools, including dashboards and analytics platforms, crucial for monitoring programme performance and enabling top-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards tailored for program and project stakeholders.
• Engage with PMO, project controls, commercial, risk, and program management teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Build data models, manage data transformation, and automate report generation using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
• Fuse data from diverse enterprise systems such as scheduling, project controls, cost management, risk, and document management platforms.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI solutions.
• Develop KPI-centered dashboards and executive-level reporting packages to track program success.
• Work collaboratively with PMIS, digital, and information management teams to enhance data structures and reporting efficiency.
• Implement automated workflows and reports to minimize manual efforts.
• Assist with data validation, quality assurance, and testing of BI tools.
• Diagnose and improve report performance and scale datasets for reliability.
• Provide training and technical support to users of Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Document technical procedures and uphold standards and best practices for reporting.
• Contribute to digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
• Brings at least ten years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, or enterprise information management environments.
• Possesses Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing enterprise-scale Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong command of Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
• Experience integrating data from SQL Server, Oracle, cloud platforms, and other enterprise applications.
• Background working in infrastructure, construction, PMO, or programme management sectors.
• Thorough understanding of KPI creation, performance reporting, and executive dashboard design.
• Skilled in developing reports and business intelligence solutions with automation components.
• Knowledgeable in data governance, quality assurance, and reporting best practices.
• Familiarity with project control data structures including scheduling, cost, risk, and commercial management is highly beneficial.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and close attention to detail.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise reporting tools.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
