Job Summary

The Fox Studio Lot in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Pot Washer to join their team. The role involves thorough washing and sanitizing of kitchenware and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and order as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and store all kitchen equipment including dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, and utensils as assigned by the Outlet Chef.
• Ensure general kitchen cleanliness, including floors.
• Sweep and mop floors adhering to company cleaning protocols or instructions from the Outlet Chef.
• Address spills immediately within the kitchen area.
• Clean and wipe down workstations at shift end.
• Keep the work area tidy and well-organized.
• Maintain kitchen equipment in good condition through proper care and use.
• Manage the trash compactor and trash area, preventing odors and regularly cleaning with suitable solutions.
• Keep ware washing and pot washing stations clean, with polished stainless steel surfaces and debris-free floors.
• Support Front and Back of House operations by ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary wares and equipment.
• Empty kitchen and designated area garbage cans regularly.
• Dispose of rubbish in designated locations on schedule.
• Clean floors and mats at assigned intervals within the kitchen and designated areas.
• Complete special cleaning projects assigned by the Outlet Chef such as filters, ovens, refrigerators, mixers, racks, and metal surface polishing.
• Comply with all State and Local Health Department regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by chefs or supervisors.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position is $23.50, with the final offer based on education, skills, experience, and location. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits as per applicable plan documents. Employees represented by a union will have benefits in line with the collective bargaining agreement.
