Role Summary

As a Post Office Manager, you will lead and oversee the delivery of comprehensive retail postal services such as courier parcels, postal boxes, money transfers, and call-in parcel management for Shoppers Drug Mart patrons. Your focus will be on maximizing departmental revenue and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead by example and ensure that the Post Office team adheres to our CORE Values.
• Conduct interviews and recommend final candidates for hiring.
• Ensure compliance with all Store Standards by Post Office cashiers.
• Provide thorough training and ongoing coaching to employees.
• Support the completion of performance reviews for Post Office cashier staff alongside the FSM.
• Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
• Maintain professional employee appearance in line with the Uniform Policy.
• Implement loss prevention systems and procedures diligently according to standards.
• Oversee adherence to parcel check procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to think independently and make sound decisions related to customer requests by asking pertinent questions to find suitable solutions.

• Experience in retail environments with cash handling responsibilities.

Working Conditions

Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges between $19.00 and $22.00, with the exact rate depending on candidate experience, knowledge, and the geographical location of the position.
