Overview
The University of Western Australia (UWA), a world top 100 and prestigious Group of Eight university, invites applications for an ongoing full-time Position Management Advisor role based in Perth. This newly established position will lead and build the university's position management framework to ensure precise organisational structures and workforce data, facilitating accurate payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the university's position management framework.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of organisational hierarchies and position establishments.
- Design, implement, and continually refine position management processes and governance.
- Ensure workforce data consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with People & Culture, Payroll, Finance, and academic Schools to support organisational change and workforce planning.
- Provide expert guidance on position management and organisational structures.
- Identify and propose improvements to data quality, control measures, and process efficiencies.
Candidate Profile
- Passion for creating structure, enhancing processes, and maintaining data integrity.
- Understanding of how sound position management supports payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Experience in position management, payroll, workforce administration, HR systems, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical aptitude.
- Proven ability managing organisational structures and workforce datasets.
- Collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Committed to continuous improvement with practical solution-focused mindset.
- Experience in complex organisational environments is advantageous.

- This position offers a base salary of up to $120,287 per annum (pro-rated) plus 17% superannuation.
