Job Summary

The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the front-of-house areas, ensuring tables, floors, counters, windows, and beverage stations are clean and ready to support efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear, bus, and clean tables, counters, and floors during peak hours and prepare areas before service shifts.
• Transport dishes and utensils from front-of-house to the kitchen safely using trays, carts, or bus tubs following safety protocols.
• Wash dishes, glasses, and pots either manually or using dishwashers, maintaining stringent sanitation standards.
• Clean cooking stations and equipment to facilitate smooth, sanitary service operations.
• Maintain display equipment cleanliness, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene rules during meal service.
• Assist with receiving heavy deliveries and move items to designated storage areas, adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Ensure proper serving temperature, portion sizes, and presentation in alignment with HACCP standards.
• Follow company safety policies, including use of protective gloves for handling utensils and hot equipment, slip-resistant footwear, and proper lifting methods.
• Perform other duties as required by the management team.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 3:00 am to 11:00 am.
• Location: Canteen at 607 Riverside Road, Suite 130, Everett, WA 98201 (remote applications accepted only).
• Compensation: Hourly wage ranging from $23.00 to $27.50 per hour.
• Previous experience is required for this role.
