Porter - All Shifts

About the Role

LV Petroleum LLC is looking to hire a dedicated and dependable Porter to join our team in Minden, LA. The Porter will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility. Duties range from routine cleaning to supporting operational tasks to ensure a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all facility areas such as restrooms, break rooms, and public zones.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance inspections to ensure safety and operational effectiveness.
• Support event or meeting preparations and breakdown by handling equipment as needed.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders when stock is low.
• Engage with customers professionally, offering friendly and responsive service.
• Promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to the management team.
• Adhere strictly to all hygiene and safety protocols required by the company.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous involvement in cleaning or custodial roles considered advantageous.
• Physical capability to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds as necessary.
• Strong focus on detail and a thorough approach to cleanliness.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team or individually without supervision.
• Willingness and flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Walk-in interviews are conducted on weekdays from 11 AM to 4 PM at the LV Petroleum travel center located at 2198 HWY 532, Minden, LA.
