Role Overview

Porters play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and dining spaces. Responsibilities include washing pots and pans, keeping work areas sanitary, and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards. Candidates should be adaptable, eager to learn, receptive to guidance, and thrive in a team environment.

Primary Duties

• Foster and uphold a culture centered on Enlightened Hospitality.
• Demonstrate cooperation, urgency, pride in the workplace, and strong commitment to guest care and food safety through diligent performance in warewashing and facility upkeep.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to maintain cookware and storage containers in good condition and correctly stored.
• Learn and consistently apply sanitation procedures according to schedule and cleaning timelines.
• Support teamwork and efficient station turnover and end-of-shift breakdown with kitchen colleagues.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen support role within a similar environment.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous but not mandatory.
