Job Summary
The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the front-of-house area, ensuring tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations are clean and tidy.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear, bus, and clean tables and sweep floors before and during peak service hours.
- Transport dishes and utensils safely to kitchen areas using appropriate trays, bus tubs, or carts.
- Wash dishes, glasses, pots, and clean cooking stations and equipment to ensure seamless service flow and sanitation compliance.
- Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of display equipment during meal service.
- Assist with receiving heavy deliveries and transporting items to designated storage areas, following safe lifting practices.
- Ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures adhere to HACCP standards.
- Follow safety protocols, including the use of protective gloves when handling knives and hot equipment, slip-resistant footwear, and proper lifting methods.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have previous experience in food service roles.
- Commitment to personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position based at 1455 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94158, working Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Further details will be provided during the interview process. Applications are accepted online only.

- Hourly wage of $25.00.
