Role Overview

As a Porter, you will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by maintaining the cleanliness of busy common areas such as bathrooms, function rooms, stairways, hallways, parking lot, sidewalks, windows, carpets, floors, and other public spaces. You will often interact with residents, their families, guests, and team members, always representing the community with friendliness and professionalism. You will follow cleaning guidelines set by the Director of Housekeeping and assist with special cleaning projects and snow removal when necessary.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability to work at least one weekend day per week, with shifts covering Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• A consistently upbeat and courteous attitude when interacting with peers, supervisors, residents, guests, and management.
• Reliability and thoroughness in executing cleaning tasks.
• Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience in cleaning roles within restaurants, healthcare, hospitals, hotels, or hospitality sectors is an advantage.
• Previous experience working with senior citizens is desirable.
• Proficiency in English communication is required.
