This role is based in Perth within our prominent Fire division.
Role Responsibilities
As a key team member, you will visit customer locations to install, maintain, and service fire protection devices such as hose reels, hydrants, extinguishers, and related systems, including testing smoke detectors. Your duties include servicing portable fire safety equipment on site, advising clients on compliance with Australian Standards, and utilizing power tools for installations and repairs. Efficient scheduling is supported via a Field Service mobile app, with opportunities for additional pay during travel to remote sites.
Candidate Profile
While experience in fire safety is advantageous, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates should possess a service-oriented approach and enjoy client interaction. Essential requirements include a current driver's license, Australian citizenship or permanent residency, and a construction industry white card or eligibility to obtain one. Having or willingness to acquire FPAS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred. Skills in time management, organization, report and quotation preparation, and route planning are valued. Flexibility to travel and work remotely is also expected.
