Job description
Position Summary
The Pool Technician will respond promptly to guest repair requests, communicating effectively with guests to resolve maintenance issues. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment such as cleaning and lubrication, conducting visual inspections of machinery, operating all equipment shut-off valves, maintaining inventory, requisitioning parts, and documenting any incomplete work before shift changes.
Work Environment and Safety
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety and security protocols; report safety hazards, maintenance problems, accidents, or injuries. Complete safety training and certifications as required. Store flammable materials safely and maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality. Promote positive guest relations by greeting and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and responding to service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Capability to navigate stairs, ramps, and ladders.
- Perform overhead reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping movements.
Teamwork
Maintain positive working relationships with staff, collaborate to achieve team goals, listen and respond respectfully to colleagues' concerns, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Diploma.
- Minimum of two years experience in related maintenance work.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No licenses or certifications necessary.
