The candidate will be responsible for designing and operationalizing safety frameworks and governance mechanisms for AI-powered and novel product features across various data types including text, image, audio, video, and other multimodal systems.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Artificial Intelligence teams to enforce policy modifications, develop evaluation frameworks, and craft moderation strategies alongside quality management systems.
- Support the enhancement and scaling of evaluation tools and infrastructure including benchmarking methods, data set creations for evaluation, golden set strategies, prompt governance workflows, automated evaluation mechanisms, and policy-ground-truth generation pipelines.
- Develop and sustain robust operational feedback loops, quality inspection processes, calibration systems, and change management workflows to elevate consistency, moderation standards, and scalability.
- Distill complex safety and policy mandates into clear operational guidance, training content, evaluation techniques, and actionable processes applied across multi-modal products.
- Identify operational inconsistencies and deployment issues using data analytics, root cause investigation, and stakeholder input, coordinating cross-functionally for continual workflow and policy refinement.
- Advance organizational scalability by developing foundational operational documents, governance tools, standard operating procedures, case repositories, certification protocols, and internal tooling systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Trust & Safety, content policy, governance strategy, program management, or related operational roles.
- Well-versed in content moderation ecosystems, policy enforcement workflows, and operational quality control.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Operations, Data Science, AI/ML, and QA disciplines.
- Capability to convert ambiguous policy issues into scalable procedural frameworks and operational solutions.
- Strong analytical skills combined with project execution capabilities, able to manage ambiguity and multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex challenges into accessible language for diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptability and sound judgment, open to modifying approaches based on evolving information, user input, product shifts, or emerging market trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Generative AI safety, governance, type evaluation, policy deployment, or AI moderation solutions.
- Knowledge of evaluation techniques including benchmarking, golden sets, auto-labeling systems, and policy-based datasets.
- Competence in designing or running training, calibration, certification, and quality assurance programs at scale.
- Familiarity with multimodal AI applications, prompt engineering, generation of synthetic data, and human-in-the-loop evaluation methodologies.
- Strong decision-making ability balancing policy consistency, pragmatic scalability, operational concerns, and product demands for global markets.
