Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized PMO Coordinator to assist the Project Management Office in overseeing project governance, planning, and reporting. This role involves collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders to track project progress, maintain essential documentation, manage risks and issues, and ensure all projects meet organizational standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of multiple projects to meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Create and regularly update project status reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management review.
- Organize PMO governance activities such as project and steering committee meetings, and maintain action tracking and documentation.
- Assist project managers with resource allocation, budget monitoring, scheduling, and documentation upkeep.
- Continuously monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests; escalate and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain project management repositories, templates, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with PMO policies.
- Collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and senior management to align on project goals and communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Between three to five years of experience in PMO coordination or a related project administrative role.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, lifecycle, and governance frameworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and tools like MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A knack for handling multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or PMO-CP are advantageous but not mandatory.
