About the Company and Role

Milestone Builders is engaged in developing residential apartments located in Jigani, Bangalore. We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Plumber for multiple ongoing and future projects at our site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install both exposed and concealed water supply lines using materials such as CPVC, UPVC, PPR, and GI following provided layouts and instructions.
• Precisely measure, cut, deburr, thread and assemble pipes using techniques including solvent welding (CPVC/UPVC), fusion welding (PPR), and GI threading with sealants/PTFE tape.
• Lay SWR/PVC drainage and vent piping with proper slope, alignment, and supports; install floor and nahani traps, and cleanouts.
• Set sanitary fixtures and CP fittings including WCs, wash basins, kitchen sinks, showers, mixers/diverters, angle valves, health faucets, geyser connections, bottle traps, and related accessories accurately.
• Conduct pressure tests on water lines using hand pumps and calibrated gauges; document results, detect leaks, and execute corrective actions.
• Flush and sanitize potable water lines prior to handover, ensuring all fixtures are clean and functional.
• Carry out basic waterproofing in bathrooms, balconies, and wet areas covering surface preparation, crack filling, corner cove molding, priming, membrane application, pipe penetration detailing, and 24-hour water pond testing.
• Assist with installation of overhead/underground tanks, valve mechanisms, non-return valves, pressure relief valves, strainers, flexible connections, and pump room components upon instruction.
• Collaborate with civil and structural teams to coordinate sleeves, cores, and cutouts; map routes precisely to avoid interference with electrical and HVAC services.
• Deliver a neat finish by ensuring level and plumb installation, proper clamp spacing, silicone sealing, and aligned fixture plates.
• Maintain tools and equipment; consistently use PPE and comply with all site safety protocols including working at heights and confined space measures.
• Monitor material consumption to reduce waste; promptly report shortages or damages.
• Maintain daily progress reports and support snag rectification and punch-list closures.
• Supervise helpers and junior technicians to uphold quality and productivity.
• Complete and pressure test all concealed piping before tiling; provide test documentation.
• Photograph concealed pipe runs prior to coverage and record related test data immediately; the Site Supervisor logs these details into the project app.

Working Hours and Experience

Work schedule is Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience specializing in plumbing installation on residential building projects.
