About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand Cloud Engineering and Operations teams, collaborating with key technology partners to deliver secure, self-service cloud platforms that enhance product delivery and customer outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong cloud governance and standards to ensure best practices in cost control, security, deployment, compliance, and policy management.
- Enhance operational excellence by defining performance metrics related to availability, workload efficiency, SLA adherence, service transitions, and security posture.
- Provide technical leadership by setting cloud strategies and architectures, troubleshooting complex issues, and engaging senior stakeholders with clear communication.
- Build and nurture high-performing teams through leadership, mentoring, talent development, and fostering a culture of accountability and servant leadership.
- Champion cloud transformation efforts by aligning roadmaps and operating models with business goals, maintaining strong relationships with senior leaders and partners.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 8 years of proven leadership in cloud engineering or Site Reliability Engineering, with extensive engineering experience managing enterprise-scale platforms and systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure, capable of designing secure, scalable, and resilient architectures using PaaS, serverless technologies, containerization, and Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Terraform). Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is beneficial.
- Strong operational and financial skills including budget management, cloud cost optimization, workload efficiency, security operations, compliance, and policy enforcement.
- Advanced capabilities in DevOps methodologies, continuous integration and delivery, monitoring, logging, reliability engineering, and promoting Agile, Lean, and DevOps cultures.
- Innovative thinker with the ability to identify and apply emerging technologies, lead transformations, and inspire new workflows.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of managing third-party vendors, mentoring engineering teams, and effectively handling stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and multi-project delivery.
