- Engage in on-call rotations for incident response, root cause analysis, and conducting post-mortems.
- Automate operational processes to minimize manual toil and improve efficiency.
- Enhance system observability with comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and robust.
- Participate in all stages of the software lifecycle: build, deploy, and operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across complex, multi-layer technology stacks.
- Drive architectural improvements aligned with resiliency, security, and multi-cloud compatibility requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Expertise in deploying Kubernetes applications with Helm.
- Professional programming or scripting skills in at least two languages among Python, Go, Java, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Prior direct experience in a Platform or DevOps Engineer role or equivalent capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with development lifecycle practices including CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and end-to-end delivery.
- Experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of GitOps deployment methodologies, particularly with tools such as ArgoCD.
- A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in DevOps or DevSecOps functions encompassing CI/CD ownership, infrastructure automation, and security.
