Job Overview

The Plate Mounter plays a crucial role in supporting press operations by preparing and mounting printing plates properly and ensuring necessary materials and equipment are organized to facilitate efficient production setup.

Responsibilities

• Mount printing plates correctly on cylinders with the proper alignment and wind direction.
• Verify that each order includes the required press equipment for every station, segregate, stage materials, and secure cages.
• Support press operators with troubleshooting any plate-related issues during runs.
• Clean and file printing plates after press usage, following established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plate mounting area and other common workspaces as necessary.
• Adhere strictly to all standard operating procedures.
• Complete accurate documentation for every order processed.
• Inspect cylinders and gears regularly to identify any damage.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management to support operations.

Requirements
