Plant Engineer

Job Summary

The Plant Engineer will oversee all aspects of plant engineering and maintenance operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of mechanical and electrical machinery. This role requires coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting plant equipment issues, and supporting the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant engineering activities and maintenance routines.
• Operate and maintain both mechanical and electrical equipment effectively.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Organize preventive maintenance plans and monitor execution.
• Evaluate machine performance and uphold safety standards.
• Lead and assign tasks to technicians and operators involved in maintenance.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance work, breakdowns, and spare parts inventory.
• Liaise with vendors and external service personnel for equipment servicing needs.
• Assist the production team by addressing technical challenges efficiently.
• Ensure all plant machinery is used and maintained in a safe manner.
• Generate periodic maintenance and technical progress reports.
