Account Manager

Overview

The Account Manager will oversee daily accounting and finance operations, leading the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely financial management. This role includes maintaining books of accounts, handling various statutory compliances, and preparing financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting processes and financial transactions.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive books of accounts and ensure correctness of accounting entries.
• Utilize Tally Prime for maintaining precise accounting records.
• Prepare and file GST returns in compliance with regulations and handle all GST-related matters.
• Calculate, pay, and file TDS returns systematically.
• Handle Income Tax processes and liaise with tax consultants when needed.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and other necessary account reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure smooth cash flow.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and Management Information System (MIS) reports for leadership review.
• Monitor cash flow, payments, and outstanding receivables closely.
• Verify invoices, vouchers, purchase and sales entries along with associated documents.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and managing year-end closure activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, Chartered Accountants, and other financial consultants as required.
• Ensure all statutory compliances are met promptly while maintaining proper documentation.
• Identify and rectify accounting irregularities promptly to maintain financial integrity.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all financial and company information.
• Execute other finance and accounting tasks as assigned by management.
