Overview
WiiGroup is expanding its team in Dublin and looking for Planning Professionals at all seniority levels—from Assistant Planner to Planning Manager—to contribute to high-profile projects in pharmaceuticals, data centers, industrial, and advanced technologies.
Role Summary
The successful candidates will be central in creating, updating, and overseeing comprehensive project schedules, whilst supporting various project control functions throughout all project phases. They will liaise closely with leadership teams, construction crews, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure accurate programme updates, effective progress tracking, and that vital deadlines are met.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in planning, scheduling, or project control roles within the construction realm.
- Background working on data center, pharmaceutical, industrial, infrastructure, or large commercial developments, which is highly preferred.
- Proficient in construction scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Strong grasp of construction sequencing, methodologies, and delivery processes.
- Capability to monitor project progress and report on key milestones.
- Collaborative working style with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Analytical mindset adept at pinpointing risks, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.
- Experienced in creating progress reports, schedule updates, and detailed look-ahead plans.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable operating within multidisciplinary teams and dynamic construction environments.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in relevant disciplines such as Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or Quantity Surveying is advantageous.
- Professional certifications like APM, PMP, or PRINCE2 are a plus.
- Fluent English proficiency is required.

Key Duties
- Create, maintain, and update project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Track project progress relative to baseline schedules and milestones.
- Generate weekly/monthly status reports, program updates, and forward-looking schedules.
- Carry out critical path analysis to identify risks, delays, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in recovery planning and schedule mitigation as needed.
- Evaluate and align subcontractor schedules with main project timelines.
- Participate in progress meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to verify updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling data and change records.
- Support time extension evaluations and analyze scheduling impact when required.
- Collaborate with project controls and management to meet planning goals and milestones.
- Drive continuous enhancements in planning methodology and reporting standards.
