Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Planning & Procurement Manager to spearhead production planning, material procurement, inventory oversight, and logistics coordination at our Hamilton facility. This vital role ensures the manufacturing plant meets customer demand efficiently through optimized supply chain and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive production, materials, and supply planning to satisfy customer orders while maximizing plant efficiency.
• Oversee procurement of raw materials, manage vendor relationships, inventory, and month-end work-in-progress processes.
• Coordinate capacity planning across Production, Warehouse, and Logistics departments.
• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to harmonize demand with production abilities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to mitigate risks and guarantee consistent supply.
• Enhance planning precision, on-time delivery metrics (DIFOTIS), lead times, inventory health, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems and advocate continuous improvements across the site.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a tertiary degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Brings minimum three years of experience in production planning, materials management, procurement, or supply chain within manufacturing settings.
• Possesses strong expertise in forecasting, inventory control, capacity planning, and S&OP processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/MRP platforms like SAP; Power BI skills considered a plus.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with confident decision-making in dynamic environments.
• Skilled in communication and stakeholder engagement, influencing cross-functional teams in Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
• Adopts a proactive stance toward continuous improvements, familiar with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Exhibits meticulous attention to detail focusing on accurate planning, reliable data, and achieving measurable outcomes.
