Planning & Material Control Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Planning & Material Control Specialist to manage inventory and delivery plans effectively within the renewable energy sector. This role involves overseeing inventory turnover, coordinating stock movements, and ensuring timely delivery to agents and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor overdue and slow-moving inventory in the central and agent warehouses, collaborating with the business department to implement promotion and allocation strategies for such stock.
• Drive the clearance and transfer of aged inventory between regions, ensuring synchronization of cleanup efforts.
• Maintain accountability for the inventory turnover ratio across central and agent warehouses.
• Arrange agent stock orders promptly to uphold delivery efficiency.
• Track sea cargo arrival, customs clearance, and warehousing activities, providing timely updates on warehousing status.
• Monitor and ensure daily progress of delivery preparations for agent stock orders, guaranteeing on-time delivery to agents or customers.
• Submit periodic data reports as required, including weekly inventory reports, sales consumption data, obsolete inventory lists, and delivery metrics.
• Participate in regular training sessions encompassing system operations, practical on-site procedures, and standardized practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the renewable energy industry.
• Local nationality with fluency in English, capable of reading and writing basic business documents.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, sales, or freight forwarding is advantageous.
• Proficient with office productivity tools; familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Understanding of fundamental concepts in purchasing, sales, and inventory storage.
