Job Overview
Join a leading global firm to engage in impactful work involving large-scale project planning and control across complex developments. This role supports pre-contract phase activities through integrated programme coordination aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive master programmes integrating portfolios, programmes, and individual projects of significant scale.
- Implement and maintain planning standards, scheduling techniques, governance, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Design programme roadmaps, delivery strategies, and scheduling hierarchies aligned with client goals.
- Maintain alignment between project timelines, portfolio priorities, and overarching programme milestones.
- Coordinate among multiple consultants, stakeholders, and teams to preserve schedule integrity and cohesion.
- Support identification and management of programme risks, dependencies, and constraints.
- Produce planning inputs for feasibility, design development, procurement, tendering, including baseline and critical path programmes.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of schedules from consultants and contractors during tender processes.
- Assess programme compliance, resource needs, risks, and delivery feasibility.
- Contribute to value engineering and delivery optimization initiatives.
- Consolidate multi-project schedule data to provide portfolio-level delivery performance insights.
- Oversee programme controls encompassing schedule governance, forecasting, progress tracking, and risk analyses.
- Identify interdependencies and factors affecting programme success, analyze schedule health, and propose recovery plans.
- Create and maintain digital dashboards and executive reporting using Power BI and related tools.
- Prepare executive presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership and clients.
- Foster strong collaboration with clients, project directors, and technical teams through workshops and coordination meetings to ensure planning alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related fields.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP, AACE, PMI-SP, or equivalent preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in planning and project controls within Project Management Consultancy or client-side programme management.
- Expertise managing planning activities across large mixed-use, infrastructure, building, or giga-project developments.
- Strong background in pre-contract planning, tender evaluation, procurement planning, and programme development.
- Advanced skills in Primavera P6, Power BI, PMIS, and integrated reporting systems.
- Excellent analytical abilities and capability to visualize data for decision-making.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex project data into clear strategic insights and reporting.
