Planning Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Planning Engineer to become part of our team based in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE. The perfect candidate should possess solid experience in project planning, scheduling, and construction management, particularly within renowned main contracting firms in the UAE.

Primary Duties

• Create, monitor, and maintain project schedules employing Primavera P6 software.
• Develop baseline schedules, upcoming activity plans, and recovery strategies.
• Monitor project advancement, recognizing possible delays and associated risks.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure milestones and activities are completed on schedule.
• Compile progress reports and perform schedule evaluations for the benefit of management and clients.
• Assist with project controls and support construction management tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is essential.
• At least five years of experience working as a Planning Engineer within the UAE.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Primavera P6 software.
• Extensive background in Project Planning and Scheduling methodologies.
• Understanding of construction management principles and processes.
• Experience specifically with prominent UAE main contracting companies is mandatory.
• Excellent skills in analysis, organization, and communication are required.
