Role Overview
- Deliver scheduling services for a variety of infrastructure projects.
- Perform pre-baseline evaluations of contractor schedules ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and industry best practices.
- Develop progress update reports identifying critical schedule risks and opportunities, communicating these effectively to clients.
- Advise on corrective measures and design acceleration programs to address significant delays.
- Facilitate coordination meetings with multiple client stakeholders to collate their inputs; develop an Integrated Master Works Programme that aligns and incorporates dependencies with the Main Contractor’s timeline.
- Provide expert guidance across all project phases regarding optimal scheduling approaches for complex multi-stage construction projects.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, Building, or Project Management disciplines.
- At least five years of experience working as a Scheduler or Planner on infrastructure projects.
- Preference for candidates with direct on-site construction project experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of full cycle construction and project workflows.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project; familiarity with Asta or equivalent scheduling tools is beneficial.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience managing scheduling activities on large-scale infrastructure projects is desirable.
- Valid legal authorization to work in New Zealand.
