Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Planner to oversee integrated planning activities at headquarters, ensuring optimal product availability and inventory control across stores and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage centralized replenishment at both item and store levels to guarantee product availability according to set Minimum Daily Quantities (MDQ) and store forecasted demands.
• Control replenishment processes at the Distribution Center (DC) level, aiming for optimal product availability.
• Maintain replenishment attributes and parameters system-wide for products at DC and store levels, monitored through system health checks and availability metrics.
• Oversee weekly promotional cycles by planning product forecasting, ordering, and store allocation, assessing promo availability, leftover stock, and forecast accuracy.
• Regulate inventory levels to meet predetermined targets while devising exit strategies for overstocked, aged, or near-expiry items to optimize inventory balance and minimize working capital.
• Perform business performance analyses to identify improvement opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.
• Develop and deliver weekly and monthly statistical forecasting reports on assigned categories to support informed decision-making.
• Communicate volume forecasts promptly with leading suppliers to ensure excellent vendor service levels.
• Review and refine monthly supplier forecasts for enhanced accuracy.
• Engage in company-wide Supply Chain projects aimed at achieving strategic business goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering disciplines.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Tableau software applications.
• Excellent communication capabilities in Arabic and English.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience with master scheduling, forecasting, procurement, and planning processes.
• Sharpened analytical and mathematical skills with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
