Role Overview
We seek a proactive and organized Placement Officer to spearhead our student placement efforts. This role involves establishing and nurturing industry relations, overseeing placement logistics, and ensuring effective job placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with HR teams across multinational firms to identify job and internship opportunities.
- Develop and sustain enduring partnerships with corporate entities.
- Arrange interviews and facilitate interactions between students and prospective employers.
- Offer career counseling, assist with resume refinement, and prepare students for interviews.
- Coordinate recruitment events such as campus drives, job fairs, and employer sessions.
- Keep comprehensive records of all placement-related activities including feedback and student progress.
- Work alongside academic departments to align training with market demands.
- Manage the complete placement cycle from initial outreach to confirmation of employment.
Candidate Requirements
- Exceptional communication, networking, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Ability to juggle various tasks and operate independently.
- Foundational understanding of recruitment and hiring procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and professional email handling.
- Demonstrated commitment to achieving measurable placement results.
- Fluent English proficiency in both spoken and written forms is essential.
- Preference for candidates who can join immediately.
- A minimum of two years relevant professional experience is required.
