Role Overview
This permanent full-time position is based in Townsville and aims to make a positive impact on people's lives daily. As a Placement and Marketing Officer, your main objective is to assist job seekers to secure meaningful employment by fostering strong employer relationships and advocating the advantages of inclusive workplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and identify the unique abilities of each job seeker while aligning these talents with employer requirements and workplace environments.
- Engage in cold calling and face-to-face meetings with employers to promote workforce solutions tailored to their hiring needs.
- Maintain and grow relationships with job seekers, guiding them towards achieving their career goals and stable employment.
- Participate actively in employer forums, develop professional networks, and keep up-to-date with labour market trends and conditions.

Required Qualifications and Skills
