Job Overview

We are looking for a proficient Ping Identity Consultant to oversee the implementation, administration, and enhancement of identity and access management (IAM) solutions within enterprise ecosystems. The candidate must be adept with the Ping Identity suite, ensuring secure and smooth access controls leveraging advanced authentication and policy enforcement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage centralized identity services covering user onboarding, offboarding, and role alterations.
  • Maintain holistic identity governance with comprehensive visibility into user access.
  • Ensure IAM platforms achieve high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
  • Deploy and maintain Single Sign-On across various enterprise applications.
  • Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and passwordless login mechanisms.
  • Configure adaptive authentication systems responsive to risk assessments and user behaviors.
  • Apply policy-driven access controls such as RBAC and ABAC to enforce least privilege principles.
  • Oversee access recertification processes and approvals.
  • Produce detailed audit logs and reports supporting regulatory compliance and internal security standards.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents related to identity management.
  • Create authentication workflows using no-code/low-code orchestration platforms to automate identity processes and improve operational effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Between five to eight years of experience specializing in IAM.
  • Extensive practical knowledge of Ping Identity suite products.
  • Proficiency in SSO protocols including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Practice implementing MFA and passwordless authentication models.
  • Understanding of adaptive and risk-based authentication approaches.
  • Experience with directory services like LDAP and Active Directory.
  • Competence in access control frameworks such as RBAC and ABAC.
  • Awareness of security best practices and established IAM standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications related to IAM or Ping Identity technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of API security paradigms and Zero Trust security models.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.
