Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Physics Teacher to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This on-site position involves developing and delivering engaging physics lessons that accommodate various learning styles through diverse teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement detailed lesson plans tailored to physics curriculum requirements.
- Conduct physics classes and explain complex scientific concepts in an accessible manner.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of grades and student attendance.
- Participate actively in curriculum development and school meetings.
- Offer additional support sessions to assist students needing extra help.
- Promote a positive learning atmosphere by collaborating with colleagues and adhering to school policies.
- Maintain classroom discipline and inspire student interest in physics and associated fields.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Physics and physics education methodologies.
- Proficient in lesson planning and effective instructional strategies.
- Solid mathematical foundation to underpin physics teachings.
- Relevant teaching certification or licensure and at least a bachelor's degree in Physics, Education, or a related area.
- Experience teaching physics at middle or high school levels, ideally within international or bilingual school environments.
- Skilled in integrating educational technology and creating inclusive, adaptable learning experiences.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Dedication to continual professional growth and development.
