Kindergarten Teacher

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis at our Doha, Qatar location. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons that promote early literacy, numeracy, social interaction, and emotional growth among young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored for young children’s learning levels.
• Create and maintain a secure, nurturing classroom environment that encourages growth and learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to children and their families.
• Manage classroom activities effectively while preparing relevant teaching materials.
• Collaborate with staff on curriculum coordination and alignment to ensure consistency.
• Participate actively in school events and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Maintain open and clear communication with parents and guardians about student development.
• Follow all school policies and applicable educational standards diligently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational background in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related discipline, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Preferred teaching certification and experience in early childhood or kindergarten education settings.
• Proven ability to design suitable lesson plans and training activities that cater to diverse learners.
• Strong communication skills geared towards interactions with children, families, and colleagues.
• Experience in international or multicultural educational environments is advantageous.
• Competent classroom management capabilities using a learner-focused approach.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit essential for a team-oriented school setting.
