Phlebotomist

Overview

Health Shield Medical Center is seeking a certified and licensed Phlebotomist with substantial practical experience to be part of our healthcare staff in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be adept at performing blood specimen collection with utmost care and professionalism.

Key Duties

• Carry out venipuncture and collect blood samples competently while prioritizing patient safety.
• Accurately label, identify, and process blood specimens following proper protocols.
• Ensure patient well-being, offering a calm and professional interaction.
• Adhere strictly to infection control, laboratory, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and precise records of patients and their specimens.
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory and clinical team members.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Possession of a relevant phlebotomy qualification or certification.
• Must hold a mandatory professional license designated as "Phlebotomist".
• At least four years of verifiable work experience in a phlebotomy role.
• Demonstrated expertise in specimen handling and blood collection.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage well with patients and team members.
• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare setting.
