Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) or an equivalent advanced degree in the relevant field.
- Publication record including a minimum of five papers in SCI or SSCI journals over the past three years.
- Comprehensive understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards applicable within the discipline.
- Exemplary analytical thinking and critical reasoning abilities.
- Proficient written communication skills with capability to deliver clear, concise, and actionable feedback.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines reliably.
- Dedication to upholding confidentiality and impartiality.
- Previous experience serving as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with digital manuscript submission and review platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assess the originality of submitted manuscripts to confirm the addition of novel insights or knowledge in the field.
- Critically examine the study’s design and methodology to ensure they are suitable, thorough, and clearly explained to facilitate reproducibility.
- Verify that the manuscript integrates current and pertinent literature comprehensively.
- Analyze how results and conclusions are presented, confirming clarity and validity supported by data relevant to the discipline.
- Offer constructive criticism, highlighting areas for improvement along with any deficiencies or ethical issues identified.
- Provide recommendations regarding publication suitability to aid the editorial decision-making process, including acceptance, revision, or rejection.
