About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to become part of our team at the Allcare store located in Blakes, Celbridge. This role offers a permanent full-time position requiring 40 hours per week over five days. Store hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Team Composition
The current team includes one Retail Store Manager, a Support Pharmacist, a Relief Pharmacist, one Technician, and two Healthcare Advisors.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver precise work with a strong focus on detail.
- Prepare and dispense medications under the careful supervision of the Pharmacist, ensuring professionalism and care.
- Maintain and monitor stock levels, ordering medicines as per store demands.
- Assemble blister packs and manage the processing and tracking of claims.
- Assist and report to the Pharmacist within a busy dispensary environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in a busy dispensary setting is advantageous but not mandatory; newly qualified technicians are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with McLernons MPS software is preferred.
- Qualifications such as the IPU Pharmacy Technician course or a Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies are considered a plus.
