Role Overview
We seek a precise and accountable Pharmacist to oversee medication dispensing, manage inventory, and provide patients with guidance at our fertility clinic pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately based on physicians' prescriptions.
- Educate patients on proper dosages, administration methods—especially for injections—and storage instructions.
- Offer guidance on IVF-related drugs, with training provided.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for medicines and consumables.
- Keep track of expiry dates and apply stock rotation practices like FIFO and FEFO.
- Initiate purchase orders and coordinate with procurement teams.
- Keep records in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained, including temperature control for sensitive IVF drugs.
- Follow legal and ethical pharmacy standards.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and counselors.
- Guarantee timely drug availability for IUI and IVF procedures.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Mandatory possession of a valid State Pharmacy Council Registration license.
- 1 to 5 years of experience working in hospital or clinic pharmacy settings.
- Experience in fertility or IVF pharmacy is advantageous but not required.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and proper handling techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Good communication skills for effective patient counseling.
- Basic computer literacy for billing and software applications.
- Efficient inventory management capabilities.
