PeopleSoft Developer

Position Overview

This role is for a seasoned Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant specializing in PeopleSoft CRM and HCM applications, focusing on application development and support using PeopleTools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, improve, and support PeopleSoft CRM and HCM systems version 8.8 or above.
• Create and maintain solutions leveraging Peoplecode, Application Engine, custom pages/components, Application Packages, Application Messaging, and front-end technologies including HTML, XML, and JavaScript.
• Develop and debug SQL and PL/SQL database solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle such as development, testing, documentation, migration, and production support, adhering to established PeopleSoft standards and practices.
• Interpret complex technical requirements to build efficient and maintainable application solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with technical peers, business users, and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of eight years in IT with substantial PeopleSoft technical background.
• Extensive experience in PeopleSoft CRM and/or HCM version 8.8 or later.
• Proficiency using PeopleTools version 8.5x or newer.
• Skilled in PeopleSoft development areas including Peoplecode, Application Engine, custom components and pages, Application Packages, and integration tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with practical solution design skills.
• Excellent communication abilities in both written and verbal forms, plus strong interpersonal skills.

Desirable Experience

Familiarity with Australian government Child Protection application modules is highly sought after.
