Role Overview
We are seeking a People Operations Lead committed to steering our growth as a team, culture, and organization. This hands-on position demands a proactive individual skilled at balancing strategic insight with operational effectiveness, particularly thriving in startup environments. The role involves working closely with managers and employees to ensure that our people processes effectively scale alongside our expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate intensively with managers and team leaders across EMEA and the US to facilitate team expansion, enhance performance, and promote employee development.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle globally—from offers and onboarding to development and offboarding—partnering with Employer of Record providers.
- Act as a trusted consultant for managers and staff on people-related matters within a diverse, multicultural setting.
- Lead and refine fundamental HR processes including performance evaluations, feedback cycles, goal establishment, and talent planning.
- Provide coaching and support to managers addressing complex employee relations and people management issues across various geographies.
- Drive projects that improve employee engagement, company culture, and overall experience for distributed teams.
- Ensure people operations, policies, and procedures remain scalable, compliant, and aligned with evolving business goals.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of eight years' experience in roles such as HR Business Partner or People Operations.
- Experience supporting globally dispersed teams, with thorough knowledge of US employment laws and work culture.
- Skilled in managing global employment through Employer of Record arrangements, including comprehensive lifecycle and compliance management.
- Proven success working in high-growth startup or similarly fast-paced environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones.
- Fluent in English at a native level for both written and oral communication.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills enabling trusted relationships across diverse cultures and organizational layers.
- Demonstrated expertise in coaching managers on performance, organizational development, and employee relations.
- High emotional intelligence combined with sound judgment and practical problem-solving capabilities.
- Adept at managing ambiguity and remaining adaptable as priorities shift.
- Experience in organizational development, leadership coaching, or talent management is an advantage.
