People Analytics Expert (f/m/d)

Overview

This position is a full-time or part-time permanent role designed to maintain continuity within the HR Services team at Siemens Energy, based either in Porto, Portugal or Erlangen, Germany. The chosen candidate will provide vital support to the German HR Services organization by managing HR operational data and reporting functions. Focusing on HRIS management and statistical reporting, this role emphasizes data integrity and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. Experience in HR Operations, strong analytical ability, familiarity with HRIS platforms, and regulatory compliance knowledge are key prerequisites.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and share routine and ad-hoc reports covering essential HR metrics like employee demographics, skills inventory, and attrition rates.
• Interpret HR data to uncover trends and inconsistencies, summarizing findings for management.
• Create and update reporting formats and dashboards to meet ongoing organizational requirements.
• Respond accurately to data requests from internal teams, ensuring the quality of information.
• Maintain personnel information in the HRIS, including employment history, salary details, and leave balances.
• Conduct periodic data audits and cleansing to maintain exceptionally high data quality standards.
• Investigate and correct discrepancies or errors in HRIS data sources promptly.
• Support HR system administration throughout the employee lifecycle from recruitment through separation.
• Assist with administering key HR programs such as compensation and benefits and contribute to process documentation and optimization.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• Solid prior experience in HR Operations, HRIS management, HR reporting, or controlling roles.
• Several years of hands-on expertise with HRIS technologies (including SAP environments), MS Access, report generation, record maintenance, and business process enhancements to support workforce administration and compliance.
• Ability to independently manage complex assignments with minimal supervision, exhibiting strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, accountability, and initiative to promote sound decision-making and organizational success.
• Familiarity with legal compliance mandates and ethical codes to guarantee lawful, policy-aligned, and responsible HR operations.
• Fluency in German is mandatory.
