Job description
Role Overview
Join Blue Ocean Systems LLC, a Univerus Company, as a Penetration Tester in Singapore. You will conduct thorough internal vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, ensuring effective resolution of identified security issues. Collaborate closely with various teams by analysing vulnerability reports from diverse sources including security researchers and automated tools, providing expert guidance on remediation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute internal vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, monitoring progress on remediation.
- Analyse and interpret vulnerability reports to assess their impact on corporate environments.
- Advise multiple teams on suitable measures to address discovered vulnerabilities efficiently.
- Contribute to penetration testing initiatives under SIA's framework.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, vulnerability trends, attack methodologies, and threat intelligence; assess their potential effects on networks and systems, and initiate corresponding mitigation and advisory actions.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years of professional penetration testing experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of common vulnerabilities and solutions, including OWASP Top 10 standards.
- Hands-on experience with attack simulations, red teaming, or offensive security testing.
- Adept at root cause analysis to identify vulnerabilities and develop technical fixes.
- Capacity to manage and analyze extensive data sets for vulnerability insights.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent analytical reasoning and proficient written communication skills.
- Preferred certifications include OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GWAPT, GXPN, or equivalents.
