Role Overview

We are seeking a PCG Testing Engineer to join our team full-time in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing comprehensive testing of products, meticulously documenting defects, assisting with test environment setups, and offering usability insights from a user perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed assessments of product features, including functionality, performance, compatibility, and user experience, based on predefined test cases.
  • Precisely record and report defects identified in hardware, system software such as Windows, device drivers, and pre-installed applications, aiding in reproducing issues.
  • Assist in setting up PC testing environments encompassing operating system deployment, driver installations, peripheral connections, and test software configuration.
  • Develop select test cases and provide constructive feedback on usability and design from an end-user viewpoint.
  • Maintain active communication with team members, respond promptly, and ensure timely completion of all designated testing activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Information, or related disciplines.
  • Fundamental understanding of software testing principles coupled with a strong enthusiasm for computer hardware.
  • At least two years of experience in testing roles; prior exposure to mobile devices, smart hardware, or consumer electronics is advantageous.
  • Proficient with Windows operating system usage, troubleshooting procedures, and system reinstallation processes.
  • Knowledgeable about computer hardware components such as CPUs, memory modules, and storage drives, with basic identification skills.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or PowerShell, capable of writing basic automation scripts.
