Job Description

Join us at our Osnabrück site as a Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) supporting our internal team.

Qualifications

  • Completed commercial training, e.g., office management specialist, wholesale and foreign trade merchant, or industrial clerk.
  • Additional qualification in personnel or payroll processing plus at least one year of work experience handling payroll with Datev Lodas system.
  • Good knowledge of income tax and social security legislation.
  • Quick comprehension skills coupled with a service-oriented mindset and reliable, structured way of working.
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, communicating professionally and confidently.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and verification of timely and accurate monthly payroll accounting in compliance with relevant social security and tax regulations as well as company-specific provisions.
  • Fulfillment of reporting, certification, and notification duties toward authorities and various administrations.
  • Correspondence with health insurance providers, the Federal Employment Agency (BfA), social welfare offices, among others.
  • Support in personnel administration tasks such as statistics, certificates, and correspondence.
  • Management of the working time software.
