Role Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing independently and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain employee master data, including personal details, transfers, entries and exits, retirement provisions, pensioners, assignments abroad, and garnishments.
- Update transaction data such as recurring payments, supplementary payments, and other net deductions and additions.
- Handle absence records including sickness, phased retirement, maternity leave, parental leave, vacations, flex time, and other absences.
- Conduct professional salary processing and subsequent activities such as payroll account reconciliation, monthly reporting, and payment execution.
- Manage reporting duties involving communications with authorities, employees, and HR departments.
- Prepare and process certification documents related to payroll.
- Provide support in assessing payroll-related tax and social security matters, delivering expert evaluations and answering employee inquiries.
- Assist HR consultants with correspondence tasks such as confirmations of data changes and notifications regarding salary adjustments.
- Generate statistics and analyses related to payroll operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, preferably as a tax assistant or personnel specialist, with several years of relevant professional experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of income tax and social security regulations.
- Strong proficiency using SAP HCM for payroll management.
- Good to very good skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Fluent German language skills (minimum B2 level) and good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Independent and service-oriented work style, combined with reliability and teamwork abilities.
