Payroll Specialist

About the Role

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join a rapidly expanding professional services firm located in Dublin, Ireland. This role is based onsite, with locations available in Sandyford or Marino. You will join a dynamic Outsourcing team, working closely with a varied client base to manage end-to-end payroll processes within an engaging and fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Handle weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll cycles from initiation through to completion.
• Utilize payroll software such as Sage Payroll and BrightPay to accurately process payroll.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment laws and taxation regulations during payroll processing.
• Prepare and lodge payroll returns, including Payroll Submission Reports (PSRs).
• Respond to and resolve client payroll inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Maintain direct communication channels with clients, offering responsive service.
• Stay current with updates to Irish payroll legislation and Revenue guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience processing payroll within the Irish jurisdiction.
• A solid understanding of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue Authority standards.
• Practical experience with payroll platforms, ideally Sage Payroll and/or BrightPay.
• Possession of an IPASS Payroll certification is advantageous.
• Capability to manage tight deadlines and juggle multiple clients simultaneously.
