Job description
Role Overview
Beth's Beautiful Destinations seeks a diligent Payroll Specialist to operate within its fully remote Canadian workflow. This role emphasizes thorough reconciliation, invoice assessment, and account evaluations to maintain transparent status tracking, accurately sourced data, and effective exception monitoring from intake through to handoff.
Primary Duties
- Manage payroll specialist tasks within the Canadian operation incorporating reconciliation, resolving exceptions, and ensuring confidentiality to preserve traceable status evidence. Key focus areas include spreadsheet analysis, audit support, variance analysis, and reporting related to destination management across Italy and Mediterranean regions.
- Evaluate incoming data using invoice reviews, variance assessments, and approval tracking to detect incomplete or inconsistent information prior to subsequent workflow stages.
- Continuously monitor open actions via account reviews, destination-management operations for Italy and Mediterranean regions, and compliance with Renata Travel DMC processes while maintaining clarity around ownership, accuracy, and timelines.
- Document decisions and transition points thoroughly with a focus on exception resolution and confidentiality to enable seamless continuation by another authorized team member without loss of historical context.
- Leverage variance analysis, approval tracking, and reconciliation to uphold quality standards and escalate exceptions when adequate tracking cannot be maintained from existing records.
Success Criteria
Successful performance is demonstrated when workflows encompassing Renata Travel DMC, destination management across Italy and Mediterranean locations, and account reviews consistently reinforce clear status evidence, data accuracy, and exception tracking. Outstanding items must remain assigned to owners with completed tasks leaving verifiable evidence trails.
Desired Qualifications and Role Compatibility
- Proven practical experience in reconciliation, invoice review, and maintaining confidentiality within a remote Canadian workflow environment.
- Effective written communication skills demonstrated through documenting ownership, status, and appropriate next steps using exception resolution and variance analysis methodologies.
- Comfortable applying approval tracking mechanisms along with adherence to Renata Travel DMC workflows and Mediterranean destination reporting to maintain precise records.
- Sound judgment in account review procedures, destination-management operations, and reconciliation including discerning when escalation of workflow items is necessary.
