Payroll Specialist

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete payroll processing cycle for employees working at multiple client locations.
• Ensure the accurate and punctual calculation and processing of salaries, attendance, leaves of absence, incentives, overtime, and statutory deductions.
• Manage payroll data and employee details using HRMS or payroll management software.
• Maintain compliance with statutory regulations including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, NAPS, NATS, and other relevant laws.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Operations, Accounts, and client teams to address payroll needs.
• Address employee inquiries concerning salary payments, pay slips, deductions, and statutory benefits.
• Generate and maintain payroll reports, management information systems, reconciliations, and salary statements.
• Identify, monitor, and resolve payroll discrepancies ensuring salaries are disbursed accurately and on time.
• Manage payroll operations for large staffing requirements, including migrant labor and multiple client accounts.
• Uphold payroll confidentiality and ensure compliance with processes to complete monthly payroll operations timely.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the staffing industry.
• Strong understanding of comprehensive payroll processing is essential.
• Familiarity with NAPS and NATS systems is necessary.
