Role Overview
The Payroll Officer is responsible for validating and ensuring the accuracy of payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, allowances, and deductions. This role involves consolidating and reviewing payroll data to guarantee correct calculation before authorization and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate payroll data inputs including attendance records, overtime, allowances, and deductions for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate and implement authorized salary changes including adjustments, promotions, and incentive payments, ensuring all modifications are properly recorded, approved, and updated within payroll and HR systems.
- Maintain and update compensation records and databases securely for audit readiness and reference.
- Generate routine and on-demand payroll reports to assist management decisions and comply with statutory reporting requirements.
- Provide support for internal and external audits by supplying precise payroll information, documentation, and reports, and contribute to documenting standard payroll procedures to uphold compliance.
